England's Charley Hull and her partner, Michael Brennan, are just one shot off the lead heading into the final round of the Grant Thornton Invitational, a mixed-team event that's got everyone on the edge of their seats. Lexi Thompson and Wyndham Clark are close behind, just two shots off the leaders, after a steady performance with eight consecutive pars. The final round promises even more excitement with a modified fourball format. Each player tees off, then they switch golf balls and play that ball for the rest of the hole, with the lowest score counting. This format is designed to encourage aggressive play and lower scores.
Brooke Henderson and Corey Conners, a Canadian duo, also put up a strong fight in the more challenging foursomes format, with seven birdies. They briefly held the lead until a bogey on the 18th, leaving them three shots behind, alongside Nelly Korda and Denny McCarthy, and Jennifer Kupcho and Chris Gotterup.
A Tournament of Ups and Downs
The Kupcho-Gotterup and Coughlin-Novak teams both faced setbacks, each carding a double bogey on the par-5 14th. However, Coughlin's incredible recovery with her eagle on the 17th showcased the unpredictable nature of the game.

This unique 54-hole competition brings together 16 LPGA Tour and 16 PGA Tour professionals, competing as mixed teams. The tournament features three different team play formats, offering equal prize money and visibility for all 32 players. It's the second year of this event, which was launched in 2023, marking the first co-sanctioned event between the LPGA Tour and PGA Tour since the JCPenney Classic in 1999.
